Week 4 Assignment - Memo revision

Memo #1

TO:  All District #777 Wholesalers
RE: Cisco Quick Marts

Don Kemsak, Marketing Director of Cisco Quick Marts, has authorized our family 12-pack displays between August 6 through September 4.

We will be using our full array of Labor Day decorative banner in each Cisco Quick Marts, displayed either in block or in circular, as suggested by Mr. Kemsak.

Please let your store managers know in advance, in order to ensure the availability of floor space and banner material.

I will be available by phone for your question.

Thank you!

Notta Bootomliner
District Manager, #777

Memo #2

TO: Ed Ditter
DATE: 2 MAY
FROM: Ike Cantwright
SUBJECT: Marketing Meeting

Hi Ed,

Hope this email finds you well.

As you may remember from our meeting in last November, when we planned to meet again on May 18 this year, as I thought I would be back from the National Sales Conference in Bahamas, instead of Topeka, by that time. However, I am sorry to say that I have to reschedule our meeting.
I will need to stop by and meet up with our team in St. Louis for the Satellite Project on my way back, and I don’t know if I would be back in town until 20th.

I tried to schedule the meeting on phone with your assistance, who, however, wasn’t sure with your schedule either. So please let me know if meeting on the 20th fits your time or you would rather propose otherwise.

Please feel free to pick any restaurant that you like.

I am looking forward to our reunion.

Best,
Ike

Memo #3

FROM: Patricia Brasher
TO: Art Proofing Group
SUBJECT: Proofing

I want to thank everyone on the team for your hard work during my leave. I appreciate your flexibility with your time.

I have identified the following areas where we could improve our efficiency,
·         All artwork proofing  should be following this order: color keys/color separation, thermals, POS, and at last rule copy.
·         We should prioritize proofing artworks that have been here the longest
·         To ensure a better accuracy and avoid unnecessary delay, please do not try to group and proof artworks by brands.

Thank you for your cooperation!

  1. Nice work and here are suggestions.

I already made some comments about memo number 1

    Memo 2

The first bullet is fine but I would separate the details such as

    1. color
    2. key and etc..

    2) looks good as it is …pull art from the bottom of the bin, not the top. Things on the bottom have been there….

    3) Think about what ideas are the most important and put them first and add a lot more explanation.
